Grant Programs

The Arts Council offers four types of grant programs each year:

Community Arts Development Grants for nonprofit and government-related organizations. These are announced in January, with applications due March 31, for programs the next fiscal year (July through June).

Arts-in-Education Grants are for public and private elementary and secondary schools. These are announced in August for the new school year, with requests due by September 30.

Mini-Grants of $100 to $500 for both nonprofit organizations and schools. These may be requested at any time, with applications received in a given month decided the following month.

Summer Arts Scholarships for advanced training for high school students of exceptional artistic promise. Applications are announced in February and due by April 30 for programs the following summer.
